About the Project

Pounds for Plates looks forward to contributing to meaningful change by combining philanthropic work with the hospitality industry in both the UK and India. Through partnerships with reputable and trusted organizations like The Winchester Beacon, Akshay Patra, MW-Eat and Royal Orchid Hotels, this project strives to plan innovative fundraising programs and community-driven events that channel donations where they are needed the most. 

In addition to this, the initiative is also excited to design a Social Impact Toolkit that offers businesses simple, practical and easy-to-implement strategies that allow them to include welfare work and donations within their projects. In this way, by blending awareness with resource creation and crowdfunding, P4P hopes to demonstrate how well-planned and prioritized acts of generosity can bring us one humble step closer to a world where having access to nutritious meals is not a privilege for a few, but a reality for all.
